Founded in fall 2020, Bodily offers 10-week programs that help participants to feel better, eat healthier and have more energy. Bodily needed an independent digital platform that could support their programs and where members can support one another on their journey.

THE CHALLENGE

During the pandemic, coach and nutritionist Karin Franzén Bohman could see the health of her friends and family decline as they picked up unhealthy habits. She had the idea of creating an app to host 10-week programs taking a fun and holistic approach to transforming wellbeing. Bodily was born!

Karin needed an independent platform that could support her programs and enable members to interact and motivate one another. She wanted to stand out from the competition with her own-branded app, without making any sacrifices on user experience or security. THE SOLUTION

With their whitelabel Disciple-powered app, Bodily has built a digital space that helps members unlock the best version of themselves. The app hosts all of their program content, enables members and coaches to interact and share progress, and uses push notifications to encourage healthy habits.

“I love that I can easily build folders, live stream and there is a calendar! There is no limit to how many photos and videos I can have in the app, which is important to my business,” says Karin.

“I couldn’t run my business without the Disciple app. We have very committed members because we have built the whole business around our participants sharing videos from their training in the community. They ask all questions there, so all members are in the app seven times a week for ten weeks,” says Karin.

Most importantly, Bodily has had an incredible impact on individual member’s lives. One man who has lived with Type 2 diabetes for 13 years, saw such an improvement in his test results that his doctor was able to stop his medication.

Karin says: “The first program, The Changer, helps members change their lifestyle. They become stronger, fitter, sleep better, eat better, and get great habits that they enjoy and don’t want to change. By creating different continuation programs, we keep them in the app and on this healthy journey. They don’t want to go back to their old lifestyle.”

What’s next for Bodily? “Our goal is to have 15,000 participants in our programs by 2025,” says Karin. Bodily started in Sweden and now has participants in 5 continents; they will continue their global expansion by enabling open subscriptions.
